indieDICE - behind the scenes & new wide angle lens View this email in your browser See what our indieDICE has been up to in the last few weeks.. Our amazingly small global shutter HDSDI camera indieDICE is like a chameleon. This camera is diverse in many ways and therefore well suited for any production. indieDICE is based on a global shutter sensor of the latest generation with 12 stops dynamic range and low noise. An HD-BNC connector outputs a pristine HDSDI signal in YUV 4:2:2, in a resolution of 1920x1080. The camera is fully self-contained and doesn't need a CCU for operation or control. indieDICE can be controlled via standard RS485 bus. By using a RS485 USB converter the Windows ProVideo software can be used to configure the camera with a powerful GUI. Due to its Multi-Matrix Colour-Control feature indieDICE is ideal for broadcast applications. With this shading function matching multiple cameras in a live broadcast environment is a breeze and conforms to industry standards. Its tiny size (only 32x32x65mm) and Trilevel-Sync Genlock make indieDICE the ideal module for compact and elaborate VR camera systems and 3D setups. indieDICE only weighs 120g. Therefore, it's easy to mount it anywhere you like. For example on a drill in order to get unique POV shots. Or you could just mount the camera behind a basketball backboard to experience the game from a completely new perspective. With our C-mount wide angle lenses indieDICE is not only a great "behind the goal" cam at football games, but also a great camera for volleyball transmissions. The camera consumes only 3,5 watts and therefore runs for hours. indieDICE and various accessories can be rented directly from Indiecam.
