The indieASSIST 235 is a new, rugged Full HD video assist for ARRIFLEX 235 35mm film cameras with the proven quality of the indieASSIST family of video-taps. It provides exceptional image quality for all crew on set, allowing to judge images far better than before. The high resolution images show true colours and have sharp, high contrast with excellent dynamic range.
With our own unique precision miniature optics from Indiecam that are optimized for modern high resoluton sensors, the image quality achieves the highest standards possible for an HD-video-assist system.

indieASSIST 235 easily mounts on the original mounting positions of the ARRIFLEX 235 film camera, which is also powering the indieASSIST 235 with an internal connector. The unit is easily interchangeable between different ARRIFLEX 235 camera bodies as well. The indieASSIST 235 has an integrated focus control and image position adjustment mechanism. Focus can easily be set with an adjustment screw and image position can be modified in XY axis as well as rotation.

indieASSIST 235 works with ARRIFLEX 235 film camera bodies in 4 perf or 3(2) perf camera setups. The very compact size of the indieASSIST 235 made two different versions for either 4perf or 3(2) perf cameras necessary. For customers who wish to convert their existing indieASSIST 235 from one perf configutation to the other a conversion kit is available at additional cost.
The indieASSIST 235 is very robust, compact, lightweight, has a minimal power draw and keeps cool during long shooting days.
